This build deals slightly less damage compared to the default talent build in single target, worse in 2-4 targets and then better damage at 5+. Soul Reaper is the default pick though since it really deals a ton of execute damage! Furthermore, Abomination Limb becomes a great choice in any fight where grouping up adds is important. Permafrost, Blinding Sleet, Acclimation, Improved Death Strike, Death's Reach and Unholy Endurance can all be useful in specific scenarios. The class tree has significantly more choice where utility can be picked up where it's relevant.
This does slightly lower single target (less than a %) but significantly more AoE. Furthermore, there are version of the build where you forsake all Death Coil upgrades and instead go into Defile (Defile build in next tab). You can opt to instead run Plaguebringer for better spread cleave. There are a couple of choices in this tree, primarily around Clawing Shadows. It deals an insane amount of opening burst, as well as peaking every 3 minutes when both your Summon Gargoyle and Army of the Dead comes up and aligns with your other cooldowns. It emphasis pet damage, going all the way down to Commander of the Dead to really gain that big burst. This will generally be your go-to raiding build in Dragonflight.
